Windows 2000 is an operating system designed and developed by Microsoft Inc. Earlier, it was known as Windows NT. Windows 2000 has all the capabilities that an operating system should have. Plus it has many more advanced features that we could not find in earlier versions of Windows. Windows 2000 Server costs $900 for full installation and $500 for upgrading.

* Advanced server for Windows 2000: It is an operating system for line-in-business or e-commerce applications. It inhibits all the features of Windows 2000 Server edition and has some additional features like clustering, scalability, etc. Advanced servers could easily manage updates, clustering and applications. They are also highly reliable edition of Windows 2000. The system requirements are:

Windows 2000 Advance server comes at a price of $3,600 for full installation and $ 3,200 for upgrading.
